The 2025 WNBA season might be months away, but fans don't have to wait much longer to see many of the league's top stars return to the hardwood.

Unrivaled tips off its inaugural season Friday in Miami with a pair of games.

The league offers a major change of pace by not only utilizing a three-on-three format but also playing on a court that measures 70x50 feet. Using a condensed full court should open up the action even more than you see with traditional three-on-three events, which are staged on a half court.

Unrivaled also boasts a ton of marquee names. Co-founders Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier are joined by Angel Reese, Sabrina Ionescu, Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Aliyah Boston and Skylar Diggins-Smith among others.

Here's what you need to know for Unrivaled's highly anticipated debut.

The Unrivaled regular season extends for nine weeks and ends on March 10, with each team playing 14 times.

The four best teams will advance on to the playoffs. There will be two semifinal games on March 16 with the championship contest to follow on March 17.

Unrivaled will also take one week in February to stage a single-elimination one-on-one tournament with a $250,000 prize on the line. The winner will also earn $10,000 for each of her teammate, so everybody can share in the spoils to some degree.

The event will run across three nights (Feb. 10, 13 and 14).
