Giannis Antetokounmpo had high praise for his experience on Greece's national basketball team in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The Milwaukee Bucks star said that it was, "awesome…along with the championship, my best basketball experience," according to Spectrum News' Dennis Krause.

Greece played in four games before being eliminated by Germany in the quarterfinals where Antetokounmpo went 9-of-14 from the field, leading the team with 22 points, two rebounds and three assists.

The 2022 Paris Olympics was Antetokounmpo's first trip to the games and Greece's fifth time fielding a team.

During his Olympic debut, he finished shooting 68 percent from the field and averaged 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals in 2021, marking the franchise's first championship since 1971. However, last season, the Bucks faced a tough first-round exit in the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, while Antetokounmpo dealt with injuries.
