After ending the PGA Tour season in disappointment in back-to-back years, Scottie Scheffler has finally claimed a title that has eluded him throughout his stellar career.

Scheffler capped off a win at the 2024 TOUR Championship on Sunday to officially claim the FedEx Cup title for the first time. With the victory, Scheffler was awarded the $25 million FedEx Cup bonus.

The total prize pool for this year was upped from $75 million in 2023 to $100 million, giving all 30 players at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta the chance to earn a solid payday.

The title was Scheffler's to lose, as he entered the 2024 TOUR Championship in first place at -10 and never looked back, shooting six-under 65 in the first round and five-under 66 in both the second and third rounds. He closed with four-under 67 in the final round for an overall score of -30.

Scheffler also began the 2022 and 2023 TOUR Championships in first place but failed to take home the victory both times. The world No. 1 golfer can now add the FedEx Cup to his mantle, which also includes a gold medal at the Paris Olympics this summer. He's had a bank-breaking 2023-24 season on the PGA Tour:
