Team USA Unveils Ralph Lauren Uniforms for 2024 Olympics Opening, Closing Ceremonies

Team USA is apparently making its trip to Paris a denim one.

Ralph Lauren unveiled the Team USA uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies at the 2024 Summer Olympics on Tuesday and made the interesting choice to go with jeans for to start the Games.

"We work very closely with Team USA to make the athletes feel at once dressed up, feel like a team, but at the same time comfortable and very distinctively American," David Lauren told The Associated Press. "Nothing says America like blue jeans, especially when we're in Paris. And it gives the athletes a chance to feel a sense of a culture but also feel like themselves and what is natural."

Team USA's top half will be more traditional, as they will wear blazers and ties to go along with an Oxford shirt.

The closing ceremony gear is even more relaxed, offering a racing suit-type look with USA emblazoned on the front.

Lauren described the closing uniform as "more graphic, more fun, a little more exciting."
