Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese said a love of fashion drove her decision to wear custom Barbie-themed sneakers to Saturday's road game against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.

"I'm into fashion. I'm high fashion. I'm a high-fashion girlie," Reese said during a pregame interview with SportsCenter. "As you know, I'm super into fashion. I went to the Met Gala, I was in Vogue and stuff.

"I want it to be known, you can be girly on and off the court. That's why they call me the Barbie."

Reese then pointed out her shoes, a custom pair of pink ombre Reeboks designed in partnership with Chicago artist Marvin Baroota.

When asked how she would describe her pre-game style, Reese answered, "A little bit of edgy, a little bit of streetwear."

Reese was wearing a very different pair of shoes when she arrived at Indianapolis' Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Saturday's game:

Reese recorded eight points and 13 rebounds, while adding an assist and a steal, during the Sky's 71-70 loss to the Fever.

Through the first seven games of her WNBA career, the former LSU star is averaging 10.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
