Nuggets' Nikola Jokić, 361 Degrees Reveal Photos of 'SpongeBob' Sneaker Collection

Three-time NBA MVP and Denver Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokić has four SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired shoes coming out soon as part of his affiliation with 361 Degrees.

ESPN's Nick DePaula posted photos of the upcoming collection, which will feature sneakers designed off the looks of four of the popular show's main characters in SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs:

Back in December, 361 Degrees announced that Jokić had signed a signature shoe deal with the Chinese athletic brand, making him the global brand ambassador.

Jokić has been a dominant force over the past four years, and he has put himself in the conversation as one of the greatest players in NBA history during that time.

The Serbian star has won the NBA MVP Award in three of the past four seasons, and last season he won the NBA Finals MVP Award by virtue of leading the Nuggets to their first NBA championship.

This season, the 6'11" big man averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game, and he has been even better in 10 playoff contests, averaging 28.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 9.5 assists.

The Nuggets hold a 3-2 series lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves in their second-round playoff series, and they will have a chance to eliminate the T-Wolves in Game 6 on Thursday night.

Jokić is such a massive star at this point that any merchandise he is involved with stands to be highly sought after, but adding the SpongeBob license into the mix should make his signature shoes even more desirable.

SpongeBob SquarePants is viewed by many as the greatest cartoon of all time, and it has enjoyed immense success since its debut on Nickelodeon in 1999.

The four-time Emmy Award-winning show is still going strong, as is Jokić, who is looking to lead his team to back-to-back titles.
