The 1-9 Miami Marlins might be so bad this season, opposing right fielders don't even have to pay attention during their at-bats.

New York Yankees star Juan Soto didn't seem all that concerned about the threat Miami posed when he was captured on video signing an autograph for a fan during Monday's game:

The three-time All-Star might have turned some heads with his decision to sign the autograph, but he still hustled to his position as the pitch was being thrown. And he made quite the impact on the game in the early going when he launched a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth.

It was part of a six-run frame for the Yankees, as Anthony Volpe also hit a three-run homer.

Soto is off to an excellent start in his first season with New York and is slashing .366/.471/.561 with two home runs and 10 RBI. The team is also playing well and is in first place in the American League East at 8-2.

Those fans in right field also might want to take advantage of those autograph opportunities when they can this season, as there is no guarantee Soto will be in New York next year. He is playing the 2024 campaign on the final year of his contract before he can become an unrestricted free agent.
