With a newsworthy Night 1 of WWE WrestleMania 40 in the books, the bar has been set for an equally exciting Night 2.

Roman Reigns' rematch with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is the most anticipated match of the evening and for good reason. The Bloodline Rules stipulation allows for interference and any other chaos that's sure to be in store.

The rest of Sunday's card has plenty of promise as well, including the World Heavyweight Championship match. Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre have a high chance of stealing the show despite Rollins already having wrestled in the main-event of Night 1.

A near-two-year-long story will culminate when women's Royal Rumble winner Bayley battles Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Championship. The outcome could go either way as it's not set in stone that Bayley will get the WrestleMania moment she has long deserved.

These are the last-minute predictions for Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 that matter most only hours ahead of tonight's event.

Bobby Lashley and Street Profits vs. Final Testament (Philadelphia Street Fight)

1 of 6

Despite being a cold storyline, this Philadelphia Street Fight is a quality addition to the card involving six supremely talented Superstars.

Bobby Lashley was left off WrestleMania 39 due to his original WrestleMania match falling through and Kross has yet to appear on The Grandest Stage of Them All. It accomplishes its goal of getting everyone onto the event, but there hasn't been much of a story behind it beyond that.

Final Testament have been getting the better of Lashley and his allies all 2024 long, so it'd stand to reason that the babyfaces group will go over at WrestleMania.

Kross hasn't quite reached "damaged goods" territory and a win over Lashley wouldn't make that much of a difference, so Lashley's stable may as well be booked to win, if only so they can move on to bigger and better things.

The Philadelphia Street Fight is shaping up to be a fun one.

Prediction: Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits win.

LA Knight vs. AJ Styles

2 of 6

For one of WWE's fastest-rising stars at one point, LA Knight has cooled off considerably in recent months, at least in terms of how he's been booked and portrayed on television.

The payoff to his program with AJ Styles coming at WrestleMania is logical, but it almost feels beneath The Megastar these days. Beating a star as seasoned and as decorated as Styles is an amazing accomplishment in itself, but Knight really should be holding gold instead of engaging in mediocre midcard feuds.

Knight winning would make for a memorable moment at the very least, but WWE may want to extend the rivalry because it keeps them both busy and ensures Knight stays in "chase" mode for a little while longer.

If this isn't the end of the line for the angle, Styles will win and potentially put himself in championship contention for one of the top titles.

    Prediction: AJ Styles wins.

Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens (United States Championship)

3 of 6

Logan Paul's entire reign as United States champion so far has seen him escape unscathed time and time again. His Triple Threat title defense against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens should be no exception.

Perhaps the most surprising part of the build to the bout has been that Orton and Owens haven't teased any tension in the slightest. They have a common enemy in Paul which is why they essentially eliminate each other in this equation.

Both have held the United States title in the past and gain nothing regaining it. There's more millage in Paul holding on it to past-WrestleMania and defending it against a variety of fresh opponents from both Raw and SmackDown.

The match itself will undoubtedly deliver and the three of them will have terrific chemistry together. but Paul stealing the win from either one of those opponents is exactly the sort of things his character would do.

Prediction: Logan Paul retains the United States Championship.

Iyo Sky vs. Bayley (WWE Women's Championship)

4 of 6

The rise, fall and rise again of Damage CTRL has been both well documented and wisely executed over the last two years. Nether woman has had a "true" WrestleMania moment as of now, so a case can be made for either one of them walking out the winner.

Bayley winning the women's Royal Rumble in emphatic fashion was another thrilling installment in their ongoing angle, organically turning Bayley into one of the biggest babyfaces on the roster.

It'd normally be ideal for the teacher to elevate the student, but Bayley becoming champion is what fans want to see more than anything. That should again be the case at WrestleMania.

Sky retaining would be a fine way to send the message that she's the future of WWE's women's division, but it wouldn't be remotely be as satisfying for a significant portion of the WWE Universe.

Provided that Bianca Belair, Naomi and Jade Cargill are able to thwart Damage CTRLs interference at ringside, this should far and away be Bayley's moment.

Prediction: Bayley wins the WWE Women's Championship.

Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre (World Heavyweight Championship

5 of 6

With this being Drew McIntyre's third opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship in under six months, it's almost unfathomable that he'd be built up again only to lose on the grand stage.

McIntyre has been doing the best character work of his entire career as of late and should be rewarded for his efforts in the form of a world title win. Capturing gold in front of fans has been a top priority for him for years and WrestleMania would be the perfect place to pull the trigger.

Additionally, it'd be best for the stagnant Seth Rollins character to lose his title and undergo a complete character overhaul. He'd benefit big time from being back in chase mode for a bit.

The only looming question is whether Damian Priest will decide to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase or not, It'd be more compelling for that to happen closer to when he has to cash in, not this Sunday.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre wins the World Heavyweight Championship.

Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship)

6 of 6

One year removed from one of the most polarizing conclusions in WrestleMania history, WWE has a chance to right that wrong by crowning Cody Rhodes the new Undisputed WWE Universal champion on Night 2.

Roman Reigns' lengthy run coming to an end at long last certainly isn't set in stone, though.

Reigns could just as easily retain to stretch out the story even longer, but that would accomplish nothing as they'd merely be delaying the inevitable.

To wait any longer for that to happen would be worse than last year's blunder. The Bloodline can't move forward until Reigns loses that championship.

With it being Bloodline Rules, anything is acceptable and interference is presumably encouraged. Rhodes should receive an ample amount of backup to thwart The Bloodline before decisively defeating Reigns and taking the title.

The American Nightmare's so-called "Renaissance Era" is officially upon us.

Prediction: Cody Rhodes wins the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
