An already magical year for Austin Reaves just keeps getting better.

After being a key piece in the Los Angeles Lakers deep postseason run, the former undrafted guard signed a four-year, $56 million contract to remain in Tinsel Town, impressed at the FIBA World Cup and is now getting ready to debut his signature shoe.

Reaves became the first NBA player to sign with Chinese brand Rigorer last year and is launching the AR1—the first shoe in his signature line—in a Lakers colorway this Saturday.

Reaves wore a generic Rigorer shoe throughout the 2022-23 season but is finally set to become the latest NBA star to show out in a signature shoe with a Chinese brand, joining Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler with Li-Ning and Klay Thompson with Anta.

The 25-year-old has boomed in popularity over the past year and was arguably the most recognizable figure on Team USA during the World Cup which took place in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.

Last season he averaged 16.9 points per game to go along with 4.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists on 46.4 percent shooting from the field in the playoffs as the Lakers' made it to the Western Conference Finals.
